Ballet is a great way for children to learn about their bodies while improving both fine and gross motor skills. Ballet also helps children learn how to interact with others while they learn basic life skills such as taking turns. Ballet enforces the importance of good posture, poise and manners. In addition, ballet helps children channel and express their energy and creativity in a positive way. Our classes come with the added benefit of teaching children shapes, colors, numbers, letters, addition and subtraction. These concepts are built into the curriculum in such a way that the visual, auditory or kinesthetic learner all have the chance to grasp them. In our class no minute is wasted, no lesson is left aside

There are a few things you need to know so that we can keep things running smoothly and maximize our time with your child. Children are expected to be on time for class, dressed and ready to go. Dress code includes ballet shoes and a leotard; sheer skirts and tights are optional. If a class is missed your child is allowed to attend a make-up class, if there is space in another class. Make-up classes must be completed by the end of the session in which the absence occurred.
